Even before he went to medical school, Dr. Kruger was involved in improving the health of people around the world through traveling medical missions. He tries to travel at least once or twice a year to an underserved country to offer state-of-the-art eye care to people in need. In 2015, he traveled to Ecuador and Swaziland to do vision outreach. Every week he’s abroad he sees many patients and performs a variety of eye procedures including lasers for diabetes and glaucoma and surgeries for cataracts and pterygiums. Dr. Kruger feels privileged to have had the training and education opportunities he’s had to share with others around the world.
